Meadow Arts presents BorderLands. From the Welsh Borders to Antarctica: twenty-two contemporary artists explore territory, identity and belonging. An exhibition in partnership with Hay Castle in the Welsh border town of Hay on Wye between 15 May and 31 August 2026.

‘Conversations with Ancient Landscapes’ involves a collaboration between Welsh and Cornish artists who are responding to ancient landscapes and civilisations.

The outcomes from visiting sites in Wales and West Cornwall are seemingly less focused on representation and more so with revealing individual interactions with the surroundings.

Combined with scientific and historical interpretations, the exhibition also embodies a metaphysical nature that responds to our human connection with the landscape.
